Investing In Other People Today

Good afternoon on this December 27, 2013. Right now it's around 3:15 PM in the afternoon. Never Christmas has come and gone, and I pray that yours was a very blessed one filled with laughter, fun and spent with family and friends. The main reason that we celebrate Christmas is the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Most of us know that Jesus was not born in December, but I believe in August. How was your Christmas? Did you spend with family and friends? Did you try to help somebody may have a need in their life.

I've been off all week for my job and real bad cold. I lost my voice for almost a week. As I said, I go back to work on Monday and to do my very best have a very positive attitude. I have been on my job for almost 18 years and I still am thinking that I still need a change. Many times we get into a comfort zone and were not really sure how to get out of that zone. Another way of looking at this is that you can go and on the job you're on the new attitude and a new energy that you never had before and in your mind say this is a new job. One thing I think that might happen is that you'll have a new appreciation for that job.

On your job that you currently have the you do your very best? This is also a question I have to ask myself. Are you one time. You give 100% of everything you out to do. Do you have respect for your supervisors, coworkers and your customers that are before you. I know that life sometimes be overwhelming. However it is not define who we are. Your problems today are just an opportunity for God to be able to move mightily in your life. Are you trust in God today. There's a great Scripture. That's found in Proverbs chapter 3 verse 5 and 6 that I truly love. This is trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own standing that in all your ways acknowledge him, he shall direct thy paths. I think this is such a great and powerful Scripture that would verse change your life and put a new perspective on anything that you are facing today.

You look at the things that are going on in the world today. There's unrest in the world. There are children that are killing their children, their parents that are abusing their own children. Crime is an all-time high. There was just a case in my community, where a woman went into a local Walmart and shoplifted. The one thing that I found amazing was that she brought her own children into the store as she was committing this crime. As the case was reported that was found that she had previously shoplifted the fourth the same Walmart and was banned. Now she is facing several charges such as shoplifting endangering her own children. When she is caught. She's going to have to face the consequences of her decision. I'm sure today she is regretting this decision that she chose to do. Now she has to face the negative consequences of her decision.

I can't really understand how somebody could get this low, and make a decision like this. However, I know times when times are tough, we all have the ability to make the wrong choice. As 2014 starts next week, I will make a greater commitment to blog about things that might help. All of us can help each other and it's our investment in the other people that will determine how our problems will turn out. Truly, I know how do you easy it is to be self-centered, however this is not healthy for you or the other people that are in your lives. Just make a commitment to do the right thing and you will see yourself rising higher than you ever have experienced before. I will close for now. Hopefully I'll get a chance to write more later, and I pray that I can be a blessing to you and also I pray that you will find somebody that you can make a big difference in their lives.

God bless you, my friend. Fred
