December 26, 2013 Daily Thoughts

Today is December 26, 2013. Here are my thoughts for today.

As the year is about ready to close. I think about my successes and failures. I believe that will fail at something that we can use this as a stepping stone to grow in the areas that God wants us to become. There are 365 days of the year. Obviously, that is a given. I know that I have so much to learn in life and I want to grow and become the man of God that I need to be. How do you define success?

We’ll talk to you today about how you truly define success. The world looks at success in the amount of money you have amount of nice things you have the amount of money you have in the bank. To me as a child of God, I define success in the following ways.

Number one. How do you treat the people in your life today? Whether its family, friends or coworkers to me is one of the greatest assets that a man of God. We can only treat people what we’ve been taught and what we are showing in the word of God, and our relationship with God. The only way we know God is by the amount of time we spend with him in the following ways. Whether it be prayer, study, and the word of God, or just listening to his still small voice.

God has so many things to say to us today and we need to be open to the word of God, and through the leading of the Spirit to be able to do the things that God has called us to do. With men. This may seem impossible. However, with God all things are possible to him that believes. Ask yourself where you want to be this time next year? You want to be stuck in the same routine that you are in now or do you want to raise to a higher level and be in the new place they were used by God more mightily and see yourself prosper and everything that you set out to do.

God told us in the word of God that he has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness. It’s up to you and me today to accept the challenge and being a man or woman of God that we have been called to be. You can do all things through Christ which strengthens you. That wonderful Scripture is found in Philippians 413 and God wants us to take hold of that Scripture and apply it to our life in a new way.

I know sometimes life is not easy. It can be overwhelming. Sometimes, it seems like a God is not in our life. Those are the times that he is near. More than ever I want you to be able to live a life that is more than abundant and be able to help people the way God has called you to be. We need to walk by faith and not by sight. God’s word is very clear that now faith is the substance of things hoped for, but the evidence of things not seen. IN HEBREWS 11-1, the word of God says. Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, but the evidence of things not seen.

My friend, we will write more later today. I ask you trust God in a mighty way today. Keep your eyes on God. Watch and see what our great God and his son Jesus Christ will do for you today.
