We should not judge others as christians

One thing we as believers should not do is judge others. It is so easy to get into this manner of thinking. I find it easy to look at others faults especially if they are attacking us. When we find out the someone is talking or running us down we want to go into attack mode. God wants us to look beyond what someone is doing to us. When it comes down to it the adversary is the one behind the attacks. Today lets just try not to judge and we just need to love others as Christ loves us.

James 1
22. But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23. For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24. For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

I challenge you to let today be the best day of your life. Lets strive to be the best we can for God.

How to receive from God

The word of God is where we should be getting our answers. Sometimes when life seems so overwhelming we tend to want to walk away from God. Instead of running away from God, we need to run to God. Our problems can only get better if God is in the midst of our life and situation.

Romans 10-17 17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We need to hear the word over and over if we want to go forward and be the man or women of God he has called us to be. Mark 11-12-26 12 And on the morrow, when they were come from Bethany, he was hungry: 13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. 14 And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it. 15 And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves; 16 And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple. 17 And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves. 18 And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine. 19 And when even was come, he went out of the city. 20 And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. 21 And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. 22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. 23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. 24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them. 25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. 26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses. According to the above scriptures there is power in our words and there is also power in forgivness that we give to others. Matthew 8-23-27 23.And when he was entered into a ship, his disciples followed him. 24.And, behold, there arose a great tempest in the sea, insomuch that the ship was covered with the waves: but he was asleep. 25.And his disciples came to him, and awoke him, saying, Lord, save us: we perish. 26.And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. 27. But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Why we dont receive from God

One thing i do think about is why we dont receive from God. I think there could be a number of reasons. One could be we dont forgive others who have done as wrong. All of us have been hurt by others. We just need to examine our heart to make sure we are not holding on to anything that we are harboring aganist someone. Are we speaking the word of God into our life. The bible says in Proverns 18-21 that death and life are in the power of the tongue. We can speak death or life the choice is ours. I want to be in the perfect will of God. I want today to be a good day. I do not want no regrets. I pray today December 29, 2012 will be a blessed day and that it is filled with the blessing of God. I pray for protection for you and your family. Ask God to help you and he will mightly. God Bless Brother Fred

So there you have it, the reason why we dont receive the answer to our prayers is because we are still somewhat worried and not wholeheartedly believing. Let me paint a picture real quick: Okay, lets imagine you are writing a ...
