Dealing With Depression During The Holidays.

Are you depressed today. Are you thinking about this one thing. Dealing with depression during the holidays.There are many people who struggle with depression especially this time of the year. With the holidays approaching many people find it difficult to maintain a positive attitude and spirit. Today I want to tell you may be some tips on getting through the holidays and also other days when times may seem overwhelming that you are also not alone in dealing with the difficulties that you may encounter.

Some the things I have learned to deal with depression is to focus on the positive things that are going right in my life and not focus so much on the negative. I know that life can be overwhelming once again however you must take control of your depression or you'll get the best of you I know this from experience. You need to have some type of activity that helps you focus on the positive things that are going right.

One of the things that I do, he studied the word of God. Also hang around positive people that are encourage me and motivate me. Also I pray for others and I realize that I'm not the only one that's going through depression. Sometimes we think we have the worse, however, what time I heard a story about a man with no shoes he complained that he didn't have any, but when he met the man with no feet he stopped complaining.

I like to pray for you today and ask God to help you and let you see that there are brighter days before you.

Father I pray today, for every person that might be reading this blog post, God that you would reach out to them and that you would help them in a mighty way, and that you would send somebody their way that might be able to help them realize how blessed they really are. I ask you God to be with the ones who feel lonely, overwhelmed, those who need healing physically, emotionally, spiritually, and those who seem like all hope is gone. God I ask you to reach out to them today again with your mighty hand and that you would just bless them and let them see you in a mighty way and even those who turn from you that they would come back to you during this season.

Father I thank you for what you have already done, and most importantly, for what you're going to do in the near future as we put our faith in our trust in you and your son Jesus Christ and it's in his name that I pray. Amen

Prayer and Thoughts Dec 5, 2013

Good morning. This December 5, 2013. As I'm sitting here this thinking about my day. I have so many thoughts that are going on to my mind and my heart, I see so many people even my own family, struggling and hurting and sometimes not knowing what the future holds. God knows what's on my heart this morning, and the word of God tells me he will give me the desires of my heart. I know within a surety that God will fulfill his word and do what he said he will do.

Knowing this I just need to stand upon the word of God and declare his promises even when the natural man tells you that your circumstances are not changing. God said in his word that he would meet our every need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. But also tells us in Matthew 633 this a key first to kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.

He also said that if we seek him first the kingdom of God and his righteousness all these things shall be added unto you. The word of God tells me I'm healed, I'm blessed, I have the righteousness of God as I stand upon the word of God Almighty issues and problems will be taking care of by the Lord of Lord King of Kings my Lord and my Savior Jesus Christ.

If you're reading this today and you're struggling I would just encourage you to grab hold of the Masters hand and know that he's going to take care of all your issues and all your problems as you call out to him and he reach out to him and you trust in him and you know within a surety that what God has promised he will do what he said he will do in his word just for you.

I would encourage you today my friend the study the word of God and pray and ask God to give you wisdom and knowledge in every situation in your life and give you the peace of God that passes all understanding that no man can give you this type of peace. The word of God says in Proverbs 3 – 5 – 6 that we are to trust in the Lord with all of the heart and lean not on own understanding but in all the ways we are talking knowledge now and he shall direct our paths.

That's such a powerful verse in Proverbs that we need to take a hold of the last God to reveal that to us in a personal way in every area of our life that we truly will see the fullness of God in our lives and those around about us that we might reach out and grab a hold of what God has planned for us.

I say word a prayer for you right now. Father God I come to you today that I ask you God to take care of every need of every person that is reading this post that you would reach out with your mighty hand and minister to them in a mighty way. Father I pray for every person that needs healing that you would just reach out to them and you administer healing in their body and they can claim by the stripes of Jesus they are healed. I pray God for every person that is struggling financially that you'd make a way were there seems to be no way and that you would help every individual see what you truly have planned for them in their lives is a reach out and they trust you in a mighty way.

I ask you God for all the conflicts that are in families, people who are struggling on their jobs, with discord, divisions, and backbiting that you would just cause of peace in the comic come over that situation that people would see that you had a hand in the conflict. I pray for those who are homeless by asking God to bless them today and make a way for them to provide for themselves and their families and they would see how much you love them how much you want them to succeed. And all these things I pray in the precious name of Jesus Christ.
